U.S. Geological Survey

The federal research organization engaged in active geological research as well as helping to manage Earth resources and disseminate information on the geological sciences.

Geology of Ohio

The Ohio Geologic Survey is a division of the Ohio Department of Natural Resources. They have both online and mail-order publications available on the geology of Ohio.

Understanding Earth

The companion site to the Geology 101 textbook provides tools to help students study for class.
